The vibrant city of Rio is famous for its carnivals, music, dancing, football, wildlife and forests. There is so much to do, see and eat in Rio that all your senses will be overwhelmed. Whether you are after an extreme or just a relaxing vacation, Rio has exactly what you want.
Every day is fabulous in Rio and the best way to start your day is to have breakfast with Christ the Redeemer. Head to Alto da Boa Vista where you can visit Christ and have a cup of local coffee and breakfast at Corcovado Restaurant, which has amazing views of the city. Then, to see the city from an even a higher point, head to Pedra Bonita ramp, where you can paraglide over the city with a highly trained instructor. This is one of the most popular and exciting things to do in Rio, so don’t miss it.
In the afternoon or maybe even for a whole day trip, take a private charter to one of Brazil’s most exclusive islands within Angra Dos Reis. Think palm trees, blue waters, white sands, acai and coconuts.
Brazil is famous for its delicious slow cooked steaks. The best place to try one is at a Brazilian steakhouse. Head to Porcao Do Aterro (http://www.porcao.com.br/), which is located on the water with views of Sugarloaf Mountain. This steakhouse has everything from lobster to steak to sushi.
In the evening head to Copacabana Palace for dinner and drinks. This is one of the oldest hotels in town and houses most of the celebrities when they come to Brazil. From here watch the amazing sunset over the bay. Then late at night, the Palace opens up a club called Bar Do Copa, which holds one of the most extravagant parties in town.
